Webinar | Resolving South Asia’s clean air and health crisis: Phasing out of fossil fuels for clean air

Novedades Mayo 26, 2022

On May 28, join the webinar Resolving South Asia’s clean air and health crisis: Phasing out fossil fuels for clean air, co-organized by Health Care Without Harm. On this session, panelists will discuss the link between air pollution and health in South Asia, and design interventions for the transition to a sustainable, fossil fuel-free future.

South Asia is at the epicenter of ambient air pollution. According to the latest World Air Quality Report, 2020, 37 of the 40 most polluted cities in the world are located in South Asia.

As the world gets ready to commemorate in June 2022 the 50 years of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm, this webinar brings together health experts and policymakers from the South Asian region to explore the interconnections between air pollution, public health and fossil fuels and outline a vision for a healthy planet for all.
